Shipping and Returns

 

1. INTRODUCTION

1.1 We ship UPS Ground to residential and business addresses. We commonly use USPS on smaller orders. We currently only allow standard ground shipping, but will be adding faster shipping options in the near future. If you need an order express shipped, please order by phone.

1.2 We provide flat rate shipping to simplify the order process for you. We strive to make our shipping costs as low as possible in an effort to pass the savings on to our customers.

2. MINIMUM ORDER

2.1 There is no minimum order!

3. FREE SHIPPING

3.1 We offer free shipping (VIA USPS PRIORITY OR UPS GROUND) on all orders totaling $89 or more. The following exceptions apply:

3.1.1: This offer excludes International orders and all orders to Alaska, Hawaii, and US territories. 

3.1.2: Orders containing Wide Sanding belts over 16" wide and Sanding Discs over 16" will be changed actual UPS shipping.

5. STOCK

5.1 All items marked '24 HR' are in stock and will ship within 24 hours after your order is placed. All items marked '2-4 DAYS' and '3-10 DAYS' are custom order items that will be shipped within the business days specified. We understand the importance of prompt shipping. However, certain items may not be shipped within the times specified. If this is the case, we will do our best to notify our customers with updated shipping information. Note: We do not ship over the weekend. 

5.2 When multiple items are purchased with different stock ship times, then orders will be shipped together when all items are available for shipment.

 RETURN INFORMATION

1.1 Customer satisfaction is our top priority at Fintech Abrasives. We work hard to provide our customers with the same great quality products we provide for our industrial partners. We expect you to be completely satisfied with your purchase. If for any reason you are not completely satisfied with your purchase, we will be happy to exchange your product to ensure complete satisfaction. We offer a 30-Day return policy on unused/ non-customized items.

1.2 Please note: All returns require prior approval from our customer service department at [email protected] or from (888) 223-8768(888) 223-8768.  

2. RETURN CONDITIONS

2.1 Items that have been used or items that have been damaged from use cannot be returned. We also cannot accept returns on promotional items not returned with your order. For example, if you bought an item that came with a free back up pad or sanding belts. These ‘extras’ must be included with your return to qualify for a full refund.

3. RESTOCKING FEES

3.1 There are no restocking fees for items returned in like-new condition (as described in the Return Conditions) within 30 days. Restrictions do apply. We reserve the right to refuse to issue credit for any item that has been misused or damaged.  

3.2 We also reserve the right to charge a restocking fee up to 15% on all returns with missing or damaged components or if items were not returned in the original packaging. 

4. EXCHANGES

4.1 If you are not fully satisfied with your purchase, we will be happy to facilitate an exchange for you. Please return the item to us within 30 days of purchase if the item is in NEW  condition (unopened, unused, untested and resalable) and it does not fall under our return exceptions policy. 

4.2 If an item is defective, it can be returned for an exchange within 30-days of purchase. Please contact customer service for further assistance.

5. CANCELLATION AND RETURNS POLICY

5.1 If you wish to cancel your order:

You must notify us by email at [email protected] prior to shipping your order;

or

When your order has been shipped to you, by returning your order to us in accordance with clause 8 below.

6. SHIPPING DAMAGE AND LOST PACKAGES POLICY

6.1 FINTECH partners only with reliable carriers and apologizes in advance for any delays caused by lost or damaged packages. We immediately work on shipping errors with our carriers and most claims are resolved within two weeks from initiation to ensure your complete satisfaction.

6.4 Shipping Refunds -Shipping charges on returns are not refundable. We do not offer refunds for shipping charges, including but not limited to domestic Ground, Express, or International shipping. Please be advised that we are unable to refund any fees imposed by an entity other than FINTECH Abrasives, such as customs or brokerage fees.

8. RETURN AND EXCHANGE INSTRUCTIONS

1. Call or email our customer service department for an RMA number.

2. Once you have your RMA number ship the merchandise back to us.

3. Pack the item securely using the original packing material. Please note that we do not accept COD shipments. Please use carriers that offer delivery notification such as UPS, USPS, DHL, or FedEx. Using one of these carriers allows   your shipment to be tracked. Please insure your package for the full value of the merchandise. The merchandise is still your property until it reaches our warehouse and we will not accept responsibility for any shipping damages occurred. 

4. Please remember to include all the contents such as promotional items, accessories, and instruction manuals that came with your original order.

5. Please note that we are not responsible for lost or stolen returned merchandise before it reaches our warehouse and signed in by one of our Team Members.

6. You will be notified as soon as your return has been processed.

6.1 All returns are processed within 10 business days of the receipt of returned merchandise. Refunds, when applicable, will be issued as soon as possible, no more than 10 business days. Credit card companies vary in their processes of posting credits back to your account.

9. POLICY EXCEPTIONS

9.1. Customized, personalized, or special order products including but not limited to coated abrasive belts, surface conditioning belts, discs, or any other made to order item.

10. INTERNATIONAL RETURNS

10.1 International returns are not accepted.

10.3 If you paid by credit card you will be credited within 15 days from the date of our acceptance. If you paid via money order, cashiers check, or business check we will mail you a refund within 15 days of our acceptance. Please contact us with any questions about our international return policy
